Health
From personal experience, exercise has been the single most healing thing in my life. It helped me through divorce, my father's death, my mother's cancer, and ultimately the breakup that inspired this website.

I was very fortunate that I come from an athletic background and part of my job is to help others exercise and build a healthier lifestyle. But even with that foundation, the first few days after discovering my partner's lies I felt weak and incapable of eating, let alone capable of completing a workout.

A week later I started gentle workouts that were pilates focused that made my body feel tired, but not exhausted and that activity in my day even helped me sleep better.

After time spent with my therapist processing the grief and the loss of the partner I thought I knew, I felt much more emotionally strong and started feeling more capable of harder workouts.

While I was healing from my betrayal, I decided I wanted to push myself to get stronger than ever so I recently began the 6 week Fit & Fierce FitQueen Challenge and have never felt or performed better. She has another one beginning November 7 and offers different workout options and meal plans.
When you feel good about yourself, you are less likely to accept poor treatment from others.
